MEGA DAY! | 11 Humpbacks, 6+ Blues, 1 fin, 1,500 common dolphins
Captain Devin reports a MEGA DAY! We watched 6+ blue whales, 11 humpback whales, 1 fin whale, and over 1,500 common dolphins as we traversed the channel. A staggering number of both fish and krill have swarmed to our waters, creating two different feeding hotspots. We’ve been spending time watching the humpbacks and dolphins mid channel, before sending it out to the islands for the big blues 🐋 Thanks so much to Sami Haddad aboard island packers for this photo! Until Next Tim

Great numbers of blues and humpbacks
What a day! The wind forecast called for some wind in the afternoon, but that didn’t stop us from having an incredible day at sea! Two of the mighty whales put up their giant flukes before disappearing back into the deep blue sea. Pairs and singles made up the majority of our s

First BLUE WHALE of the year!
The BIGGEST there is or ever has been 🐋 Our passengers enjoyed the incredible marvel of a Blue whale on today’s trip! It’s hard to comprehend the size of these ancient whales. Reaching upwards of 90 feet in the northern hemisphere, blue whales create an immense sense of awe with just their sheer presence. Today’s sighting is a promising sign for a blue whale summer, as their presence is a tell tale sign that large swarms of krill have bloomed in the channel. With some epic w
