We left the fog behind and were greeted with a bit of wind today proving how dynamic the Santa Barbara channel can really be!
In the same hotspot of feeding blues, we closely watched 5 individuals. Tail flukes and tall spouts were all around us. There were probably another 10-15 whales in the distance. We also watched 300 long-beaked common dolphins and snagged on Mylar balloons.
Another incredible day with blue giants in the Santa Barbara Channel Whale Heritage Area.
