Cow/ Calf Pair of humpback whales + dolphins

Stunning sea conditions graced the channel and our coastal waters held some awesome marine life.

We found a lovely cow/calf pair of humpback whales close to the harbor today. Mother "Wings," is a whale commonly seen in Monterey, CA. She was first documented in 2011 in Nayarit, Mexico, and documented with her last calf in 2018! Thanks to happy whale for providing this info!

We sped around and had some great interactions with 500+ common dolphins. Viewing these incredible animals was enhacned by the glassy conditions as well as the incedible visibility.
