Breachfest to finish the day! Humpbacks and common dolphins

All the life was directly in front of the harbor this morning. We enjoyed 3+ humpback whales and over 2,000 common dolphins feeding in one area. The highlight of the trip was certainly the last whale of the day, who breached, chin slapped, and pec slapped to his hearts content!

This whale was ID’d as “Rocky,” a young whale first spotted in 2024 and has previously been sighted in Morro bay and Monterey bay!

Until Next Time,

The SBWW Crew
