Beautiful sea conditions graced the channel this morning, allowing us to find a whole heap of life.
Our first sighting of the day was a nice pod of around 100 common dolphins in glassy seas. Nearby, a small juvenile humpback was lungefeeding at the surface. We got great looks at this hungry fellow.
WE continued to bounce around in the flats from dolphin group to dolphin group, watching an additional 3 humpbacks as we went. Most noticably was this beautiful humpback with white ends of its flukes!
Another great day in the Santa Barbara Channel
Until Next Time,
The SBWW Crew
