Hungry Cow/ Calf Humpbacks and more!

Today's excursion took us west towards the East Channel Buoy where we first came across 5-6 dall’s porpoise. Here we also found a very hungry cow/ calf pair of humpbacks! We watched as the mother did multiple lungefeeds near the boat, wowing our crew and passengers.

Further to the east, along the mid-channel drop-off, we watched another humpback feeding with ~500 dolphins. The area had so many birds, dolphins, sea lions, and whales; it was a feeding bonanza!
