HUGE WHALE mugs us in BLUE WATER!

A phenomenal day in the old SBC started off hot with a pair of humpbacks off the rigs. Here we enjoyed hundreds of common dolphins as well.

After doing a large lap of the eastern channel, we saw thousands of common dolphins and two looks at minke whales.

As we were coming home, we enjoyed three more humpbacks in perfect sunny skies and blue water. One of the whales was HUGE and came up next to us multiple times, slapping its giant pectoral fins on the surface. This incredible mugging topped off another gorgeous day in the SBC.
