2 trips, minkes, humpbacks, and common dolphins!

2 trips left the dock today, each with their own unique sightings!
The morning trip greeted us with stellar conditions and a trip to the east where we had some humpbacks the day prior. We sped arounf the area to find 3 minke whales feeding with ~200 common dolphins. We had great looks at the minkes as they surfaced right next to us!
We ran west on our afternoon trip to find a large pod of ~1,000 short beaked common dolphins. They were as acrobatic as ever, leaping about the boat. Even the babies went airborne as the photo below shows.
We ran east towards the area we had all the minkes and dolphins on the prior trip. To our surprise, the humpbacks we were searching for on the trip prior must've filled in to the area. We enjoyed 2 humpbacks with a third in the distance. They lunged a few times close to the boat as lbcd forced baitballs of fish towards the surface. The wind quickly picked up, so we decided it was time to run for home!
