Absolutely incredible. Among 6 humpback whales, we had 2 separate friendly encounters!
The first whale was well well-known whale "LoRyLaney," a large whale with a particularly white tail. It hung out with us for over 30 minutes, circling and spyhopping next to us. Here is LoRyLaney's happy whale page.
Common dolphins were everywhere as we chugged south. Within ~30 minutes of leaving LoRyLaney, we found another FRIENDLIER whale! For an hour, this whale paraded around us, spyhopping with ferocity.
Another fantastic day.
